Atom Cup 2014 – Brands Hatch

The Atom Cup is a UK based single make race series for the Ariel Atom. After an impressive debut year in 2013, the race comes to Brands Hatch this August. The Atom Cup takes place over 8 weekends and involves 16 races at circuits around the UK, with 3 weekends left for this year. The man behind the race and who bought it to life is Mark Harrison who is also the series director.
The Atom Ariel  is powered by a 245bhp, 2.0-litre Honda i-VTEC engine, weighs just 510kg and costs around £35,000. The length of the track at Brands Hatch is 2.613 miles and has 9 turns
This year the racers can choose from a Gold, Silver or Bronze support package. The Bronze covers entry fees and hospitality, whilst the gold will take care of everything you’re going to need. This includes your tyres and fuel for the season, a track assistant, transportation and storage and maintenance between the eight rounds.
The Ariel motor company is one of the great British success stories and HPI are delighted to be sponsoring one of the race cars in the cup.
